Learning Session Description
This learning session aims to provide participants with the basic knowledge of management prerogatives/labor rights, pertinent laws and jurisprudence that will guide them in initiating and conducting administrative investigations.
The learning session will also discuss the elements of progressive discipline and the essential steps in conducting the investigation with the end view of protecting the interests of the employer without trampling on the rights of employees guaranteed under the Constitution and law.
Termination of employment, as a last recourse, of progressive discipline will be thoroughly amplified by way of explaining the just causes of termination coupled with illustrations of each one of these causes.

At the end of the learning session, participants will be able to:
• Enhance their knowledge of management prerogatives and their limitations versus employee rights;
• Acquire knowledge of the legal requirements of substantive and procedural due process in investigations leading to terminations of employment;
